Best Hair Store hair extensions review*

Hi everyone,

I was sent some hair extensions from 'Best Hair Store'.

One thing I will say about these extensions is that they came very well packaged. The came in a box and the hair extensions themselves were in a lovely protective bag. The extensions themselves clipped at the top to keep them in place. The extensions I choose were 20 inch straight hair clip in extensions in piano #10/613 extensions. They looked lovely on the model on the website. These extensions are made with 100% human hair. I like the fact that they are made with human hair so you can style them in anyway you want by either curling them or straightening them. Also, the hair is virgin hair which means the hair has not been chemically treated in anyway.

I also like the fact that they provide combs to help care for the extensions. I also love the addition of the false lashes too.

I love the colour of these extensions. The sad thing about them however is, they don't suit my hair. They just didn't blend with my hair at all. I am really sad about this. I am actually late with putting this review up because I tried so hard to do everything I could to make them work, but nothing I could did. I have always said I would be honest with telling you what I think. This doesn't mean to say I don't think they are good quality extensions, because I do think they are. It is just a shame that I can't wear them.

I also love the clips on the extensions, they are really easy to pop in your hair. I also love the fact that there is a rubber grip at the bottom of the clip, which will help to prevent them from slipping.

I would love to try another set from Best Hair Store as I would love to show you photos of me wearing a set of them. Not only that, I am desperately trying to find a pair of extensions. I would have loved to have worn these to my daughters Christening next weekend. I don't just want them for the length but to make my hair look a bit thicker and to give me a bit more confidence. My extensions came from the 130g clip in extensions section of their store, where there are loads of other colours to choose from. They also do 100g and 120g clip in extensions. They also sell tape in extensions and micro ring extensions. Their website is easy to navigate around and it is easy to find what you are looking for. You can even chat live to someone, which is maybe what I should have done.

Do you wear extensions? If so where are yours from?

ProBlo VolumizeMe comb review*

Hi everyone,

So a couple of weeks ago I was sent a ProBlo VolumizeMe to try out and review. I'm pleased to say I've tried it out and I love it!

I have tried a couple of backcombing combs before. One was middle of the range and the other being a very cheap one. Both seemed okay, but there was something about them that left my hair a little, unfinished maybe? This is why I was so pleased to try the PloBlo VolumizeMe.

So here is what the comb itself looks like:

Backcombing, comb

ProBlo Group

It's unbelievably easy to use! I used mine alongside my Bed Head by TIGI 'Queen for a Day' thickening spay. Even though my hair is due for a cut and is a little heavy, it still worked wonders. The bristles seem to be just right to backcomb and to have the ability to smooth. The comb is very easy to grip and it just feels nice. I think it's a great price at £15 as it has that luxury feel to it and it works!

You can use the end of the brush to part sections of your hair. After doing that you can start to backcomb the section of your hair, holding it straight. You can then put the piece of hair you were holding straight down and use the comb to smooth the hair over. Finish with spraying your choice of hairspray to hold.

I used the Bead Head thickening spray after instead of hairspray. I spray this all over to give a textured, messy hair look.

I have a before and after picture of what my hair turned out like. Sorry the pictures aren't great, my boyfriend took them and is learning the whole blog photography thing. I don't think it does enough justice.

Before                                               After
I would definitely recommend the VolumizeMe comb for all sorts of hair types. I mean, I probably have one of the worst hair types, extremely fine, thin, very straight and it's long! This comb still works for my hair and would work for shorter and/or thicker hair types.

I obviously went for a messier look because that's what I was feeling. However, you could definitely make a very sleek and polished look with this brush due to it's smoothing ability.

I already have my eye on the CurlMe Duluxe set.

Itsatashathing: #Blogtober16 Day 2: An old photo of you

Hi everyone,

It's day 2 of #Blogtober16 and todays post is to post an old photo of me.

So the majority of my 'young me' photos are back at my mums house so I've had to make do with the ones I have with me. You'll have to excuse the quality of them.

So this is the first one:

day out, ride
Me and my Mum
I believe I would have been about 3 in this picture. Having taken it on my phone hasn't given the best quality, my hair is so much brighter in the original. I haven't a clue where I am but I'm on some ride sat next to my Mum.

Picture 2:

holiday, bear
On holiday in Spain

My hair though! Here I am on holiday in Spain with the school bear, I think I was about 7 here. I believe her name was Bernice. When you took her away with you, you had to write and take a picture of her journeys with you.

Sorry the photos aren't the best.

Thanks for reading
