Hi everyone,
On to day 5! Today is all about what career I wanted as a child.
I never had a set career in stone but there was always the one I went back to: a make-up artist and a hairdresser.
As I mentioned in the who am I post as a child I always went round doing hair and make-up. I guess this is where this career choice stemmed from. I do regret not following this childhood dream as I still want to do these today.
Another career choice I had when I was about 12 was to be an interior designer. Seriously, I have no idea where this idea came from. I guess I liked home wear and had an eye for style. I know what I like and what goes well together.
Last but not least I wanted to be a teacher. I guess it's somewhat like I do as a career now. This came from sitting at my little desk in my bedroom and lining all my toys up and setting them 'tasks'.
QOTD: What would you're ideal career be if you could take it today?

Itsatashathing: #Blogtober16 Day 4: A secret about me
Hi everyone,
It's day 4! Todays post is to share a secret about yourself.
Now I don't have many secrets about me. So I guess I'll just list some facts/truths about me.
It's day 4! Todays post is to share a secret about yourself.
Now I don't have many secrets about me. So I guess I'll just list some facts/truths about me.
- I don't like coffee but I like coffee flavoured things e.g. coffee cake. How this works I don't know.
- I really don't like being an only child. Quite frankly it sucks. If you have a problem and scared to tell your Mum or Dad, who have you got to turn to? You hear all the stories of what people used to do with their siblings and sometimes I do get a little jealous as I don't have any memories like that.
- I am banned from colouring my hair. No bleaching, no highlights, no nothing. I would make the whole of my family upset. For some reason they love and are proud of my hair colour.
- I also don't like apple crumble or apple pie. I think its warm cooked fruits I don't like and this time of the year that's all there seems to be. I love the smell, just not the taste. I really do not like the fact I don't like them. I would love to sit all wrapped up with a slice of apple pie and custard, instead for me it's just the custard (or I have to be the awkward one and have some alternative).
- When I'm ill I don't follow the rules of 'eat plain foods' and when people say 'eat dry toast and crackers'. Not for me I'm afraid. So I eat what I want, if it makes me worse more fool me but if I want something I'll have it.
So not really secrets but a few truths about me.
QOTD: What secret would you share?

Itsatashathing: #Blogtober16 Day 3: If I won the lottery
Hi everyone,
Day 3 of #Blogtober16 (go me!) and it's about what I would do if I won the lottery. Question is: What wouldn't I do?
Firstly, I would make sure each of my parents and grandparents had a decent amount of money, as with my boyfriends family. I would also put some in a savings account for baby. Closely followed by donating money to a selection of charities (there are so many I would donate to I would be here for ages listing them all).
Secondly, I would buy a nice house. Nothing outrageous but something with a homey and modern feel. I don't see the need for a house with 10 acres of land, 8 different bedrooms, 6 living spaces, 4 bathrooms and a massive kitchen (although the latter would be nice). Sorry, but to much house work for me. As long as there are enough bedrooms for our family, however many we may be (including a spare room for visitors), a cosy living/lounge room, dining area, play room for the little ones, a couple of bathrooms (preferably an en-suit in mine and my boyfriends room and a separate one for the children and visitors), a decent sized kitchen and not to big of a garden, I would love it. Maybe an office area as well but I could give or take that.
Then I would probably go on a shopping spree. Get new homeware items for the house and treat the family to a few bits and pieces.
The rest of it can go towards an early retirement for myself and my boyfriend to spend all the time we need with however many children we'd have at this point.
What would you do if you won the lottery?
QOTD: how do you chase away the Monday morning blues?

Itsatashathing: #Blogtober16 Day 2: An old photo of you
Hi everyone,
It's day 2 of #Blogtober16 and todays post is to post an old photo of me.
So the majority of my 'young me' photos are back at my mums house so I've had to make do with the ones I have with me. You'll have to excuse the quality of them.
So this is the first one:
I believe I would have been about 3 in this picture. Having taken it on my phone hasn't given the best quality, my hair is so much brighter in the original. I haven't a clue where I am but I'm on some ride sat next to my Mum.

My hair though! Here I am on holiday in Spain with the school bear, I think I was about 7 here. I believe her name was Bernice. When you took her away with you, you had to write and take a picture of her journeys with you.
Sorry the photos aren't the best.
Thanks for reading

Itsatashathing: August 2016 in pictures
Hi everyone,
I know were in October and this should have been posted last month but I have just remembered it.
6th: A trip creams café! With my usual: a Nutella (double helping why not?) and fresh sliced strawberry waffle with whipped cream.
19th: No, don't worry you're not seeing double. We had another Creams café. With my usual again (I think I need to explore the menu more, any suggestions?).

3rd: On the 33rd October my boyfriend and I went baby shopping! We put deposits down on this lovely Mamas and Papas Mia cot bed and a Silvercross pram.
6th: A trip creams café! With my usual: a Nutella (double helping why not?) and fresh sliced strawberry waffle with whipped cream.
11th: I sat in the café in Asda waiting for my boyfriend to come out of his interview. I had the spicy chicken pizza (I think) which can I say for this big slice (I'd started eating it before I took a photo, oops) was £1! Amazing value and tasted great!
19th: No, don't worry you're not seeing double. We had another Creams café. With my usual again (I think I need to explore the menu more, any suggestions?).
26th: A friend of my boyfriends family brought this dress for our little girl. It is to gorgeous not to share. It's only £12 from Matalan!
31st: I got a little bit excited when Louise (Sprinkle of Glitter) liked my tweet. I've been following Louise since her very first video on YouTube, so you can only imagine how I felt. I don't ever 'fan girl' as we are all people but it was like an achievement for me.
Thank you for reading a rather late August in pictures.
