Itsatashathing: #Blogtober16 Day 1: Who are you?

Hi everyone,

So I've bitten the bullet and decided to take part in Hex Mum Blogs #Blogtober16! Now as you know I'm not used to posting everyday. So I thought I'd give it ago.

blogtober, blogtober16, blogtober 2016
Post agenda for the week

Day one is to write about who you are. I know my first ever post was an all about me but hey, it's blogtober and things change (well not to much) and there may be new people reading this (if you are new hi and welcome to my blog, it's a lovely place).

So My name is Tasha and I'm a 20 year old self-confessed shopaholic and Mum-to-Be from Greater London/Kent. I'm also a natural blonde.

I love a Selfie: Meet me!

I was born further down south but a year and a half ago I met my lovely boyfriend on none other Instagram. He lived with me for a while and then I moved into live with him.

I did okay in school and went onto sixth form college where I studied the CACHE level 3 diploma in childcare and education. Although college taught me a lot I feel I have learnt more working in settings.

I started my blogging journey in May this year and I'm pretty happy with my blog right now. I started blogging because I loved reading others blogs and reading their opinions. So I thought why not put my own twist into the blogging world and start my own.

As I mentioned above I am going to be a Mummy! Writing this post I am exactly 31 weeks pregnant. I am due in December and we found out we are having a little girl! My boyfriend and I cannot wait to meet her.

Our baby girl!

I am a massive hoarder of make-up and clothes. I don't have a specific style, if I like it I'll get it. I like any make-up high street to high end. Same goes with clothes I love the likes of Armani but then again you can't beat a good Primark haul.

I've also just thought I don't like thunder and lighting as I'm sat here without my boyfriend and a storm starts *grabs the duvet, a teddy and hides*. On the subject of fears I'm also scared of lifts and candles (the candle thing I am very sad about, as long as they're not lit all is good. So you could say it's fire I'm scared of).

I don't have any major hobbies but I love to read and bake. When it comes to cooking dinners I'm better at the hearty homemade meals like stews and not to blow my own trumpet but I'm a pretty good baker (especially cakes). Maybe one day I will be able to share a few of my creations with you.

My perfect idea of spending my evenings (weekdays or weekends), is grabbing a blanket, some nibbles (a mixture of savoury and sweet), cuddling up with my boyfriend and watching TV or a good film.

I am big Harry Potter fan. I have been to the Warner Brothers studio tour twice before but I am hoping to go back to the tour for my birthday in January when it will still be all Christmassy.

I think that's about everything. I hope you enjoyed my first post of #blogtober16.

Itsatashathing: an app called Vinted

Hi everyone,

Today I want to talk to you about an app called vinted. This can be downloaded from the apple and android app stores. You don't have to download the app as you can use it via a computer.

Vinted is an app where you can buy, sell and swap clothes. A little while ago vinted introduced being able to sell men's clothing, children's clothing, intimates and beauty products. I love Vinted as you can list for free and you will only get charged a small selling fee if you sell an item.

I have been on Vinted for over a year now and have sold, brought and swapped many items. I currently have a total of 77 items for sale. There are a large community one the site of what we call 'Vinties'. The Vinted community is lovely and you talk to one another via the forums.

Forums have different categories where you can create discussions about different topics. There is also a people and relationships category where you can seek advice from the community anonymously.

My username is tashah.

I will go through a few things you can see on the app:

-Favourite items: favourite items (as you can see I have many) means when you like an item but may not have the money for it or want to explore other items, it gets put there so you can go back to it later. It's a bit like making a wish list.

-Personalisation: pretty self explanatory. Here you can change your size preferences, brands you like and follow and 'Vinties' you follow.

-Balance: again self explanatory. Here you can see when transactions have gone through how much you can withdraw or spend on Vinted. You can also see you pending balance from transactions you have made and are waiting for others to receive.

-My orders: here you can keep track of items you have sold or items you are waiting to receive.

-Bundle discount: bundle discount is a great incentive for other 'Vinties'. If you have this turned on (like I do) if someone has seen multiple items they like they can ask to do a bundle. They will then receive it at your discounted price. Discounts can be as little as 5% and as great as 50%.

-Invite friends and find friends: you can invite friends through email, Twitter or Facebook and find friends through Facebook and you mobiles address book.

-Holiday mode: if you are going away for a few days and won't be able to send items you can switch this on to avoid making people unhappy. You can even just switch this on if you want a break from selling items.

At the bottom which you can't see are settings, about Vinted and help centre.

Vinted also have their own social media accounts including a blog. (UK sites).

Vinted blog: https://www.vinted.co.uk/blog

Vinted Twitter: @vinteduk

Vinted Instagram: @vinteduk

Personally I love Vinted and have brought many lovely items. Have you got Vinted? If so share your usernames and purchases below.
