Itsatashathing: #AlphaBlogBites Day 4: D is for...

Hi everyone,

On to day 4 and D is for...

#AlphaBlogBites
D is for Discovery
Okay so I won't lie I found this a bit hard. There are a couple of different things that I thought I could write about like, what do I think the best discovery ever made is or have I ever discovered something. Well I have never discovered anything, nor can I pick the best discovery because face it I'd have a list as long as my arm.

Then I thought maybe I could share a discovery I have made about myself.

So you may or may not know I am a very anxious person. I find certain things hard to get over and I constantly over think. My poor boyfriend gets it in the neck a lot as I am mostly anxious about how I look and how he could do 100x better than me. I'm constantly putting myself down for him to have to bring me back up again. He is truly amazing though as he constantly reassures me that he only has eyes for me and he loves all of me.

I have come to realise now that I need to pull myself together, I'm becoming a Mum.

So there are more things that I am anxious about but my boyfriend and I are the foundation of our little family and needs addressing first.

I have had to seriously take steps back to be able to take steps forward. I am still overcoming this and it is proving difficult. However, in doing this I have discovered how strong I can actually be and if not for myself but for someone else. I don't want my baby getting the vibes that her Mummy isn't a strong person and that I let the little things get the better of me. I want her to look at me and think 'Wow! That's my Mum and she is the strongest women I know.' Just like I do with my Mum and Grandma.

I'm quite proud of myself as I have slowed down on comparing myself to every girl with potential that walks by my boyfriend and I. The thoughts of 'is he looking at her? What if he'd prefer her?' are slowly turning into 'he loves you, he's having a baby with you, he tells you all the time.' I just have to reassure myself.

So not only have I discovered that I can have a stronger mind, I have also discovered that I can overcome this but it will just take time.

Itsatashathing: Perfect Pretty Pearls

Hi everyone,

So a bit of an impromptu post today.

I have been speaking to my boyfriends sister today and she has had a very exciting delivery!

She is starting up her own Perfect Pretty Pearls UK (Facebook like page), Perfect Pretty Pearls UK Group.

Lisa also has a NuSkin page Lisa's NuYou Health and Beauty. She has many reviews about products she has sent to customers over the last 9 or so months.

So if you haven't heard of them before they sell jewellery where you get to pick your oyster and pendent of your choice. The colour of the pearl inside the oyster is unknown! So it will be a complete surprise when you order one. Prices start from £37.50-£47.50 depending on your chosen pendant. The necklaces are sterling silver.

To prove they are real oysters here is a picture I took earlier when she received them!

Real Oyster!

Tonight at around 7pm GMT she will be hosting a live Facebook chat along with Tina! This will be where you can buy your oyster and necklace and you can choose to have a live opening, or open it yourself later). As I mentioned above the colour pearl in the oyster is completely unknown, which I think is part of the excitement. As an added bonus some of these oysters are known to have twin pearls in them! Meaning you get 2 pearls! Some of the pendants fit more then one pearl so you can buy additional oysters at £10.99 each. **Shipping costs vary depending on your location and if you just buy an oyster compared to buying the pendant as well.**

I cannot wait to get one! If you check out her Facebook pages you can see many more pictures on there! I will be watching and I hope to see you watching too! (If you do tune in say this is where you were sent from!) If you can't make tonight she will also be hosting on Thursday as well.

Don't forget to like and add yourself to:

Perfect Pretty Pearls UK Like Page (If you like and share their page for every share you make will be one entry into their prize giveaway at the end of November! This will be a chance to win a necklace and pearl! Don't forget to comment when you've entered!)

Itsatashathing: #AlphaBlogBites Day 1: A for Adventures

Hi everyone,

Yes I'm at it again! Daily blogging for the second month running! *gives self pat on the back* Anything to keep me busy in the run up to having little one.

So this is called #AlphaBlogBites and is set up by the lovely Hex Mum Blog and Me Becoming Mum. It's down for the bloggers taking part to look at the word given with the alphabet and give their interpretation of it.

Day 1:
#AlphaBlogBites
A is for Activities

So my interpretation of this is 'What activities do I take part in?'

I don't take part in any activities other than blogging but if I had to pick some to take part in here's what I'd pick:
  • Horse riding. I loved going horse riding as a child and I would love to do so again (when I am a lot less pregnant).
  • I am planning on taking baby to classes when she is born. I need to look up a few in my local area.
  • Some sort of craft. I love making things but I don't know what, any suggestions?
  • Baking. I love baking! When I put my mind to it amazing things come out of it but I haven't done any in ages.
QOTD: What activities do you take part in?
